Anzac Day at Beachport will begin at approximately 6-20am with Piper Janet Bellinger and Beachport Primary Students handing out mementos.
This will be followed by the Catafalque party landing by boat and marching to the memorial.
Mr Bob Grieve will welcome and perform the opening address. Followed by Millicent High School student address with her research about 2 WW1 enlistees.
Kangaroo Inn Area School students will read diary readings of soldiers.
Wreaths will be laid to the sound of the Piper.
The last Post will follow and the Ode will be read by Peter Hill, East Timor Vet and Lions President.
Prayers will be read by Fred Smith and an Anzac Poem will be read by students.
at approximately 7-00 am will see the Tiger Moth fly past to the Australian and New Zealand National Anthems.
Flags will fly at half mast until noon.
Breakfast will be supplied by Beachport Lions at approx 7.15am on the lawn unless weather is against an outdoor breakfast and then it will be served at the Recreation Hall.
