Man arrested for growing cannabis – Millicent

Police have reported a 27-year-old Millicent man for cultivating cannabis.

On Saturday 12 October police attended man’s Millicent home and allegedly located four cannabis plants and some seeds.

The man will appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court at a later date. He was also issued with an expiation notice for his seeds.

Power tools stolen – Millicent

Police are investigating the theft of tools from a shed during a break-in at Millicent.

Some time between 10am on Friday 11 October and 2pm the following day, someone broke into a locked shed on Mount Gambier Road, Millicent, and stole power tools.

The stolen items include a 4 inch Makita angle grinder, a 9 inch angle grinder, and a Mechpro Deluxe gravity feed 600 ml spray paint gun.

Driving lights stolen – Nangwarry

Police are investigating the theft of driving lights in Nangwarry.

Overnight on Saturday 12 October three sets of driving lights were stolen from vehicles in Blessing Street, Coombe Street and O’Loughlin Terrace.
