Approximately 100 women attended the 4th Annual GIRLS NIGHT IN at the Rendelsham Hall last night (Wednesday). The event is organized by the Rendelsham Thimbles ‘n Threads Craft Group who meet weekly at the hall. Everyone attending is invited to dress in pink and brink along their gold coins to take part in the fundraiser. A total of $2,202.10 was raised on the night.
Almost as many ‘Shades of Pink’, as there were people attending, lit up the hall as regulars and newcomers arrived to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation, enjoying an evening of fun, lucky door prize, raffles which ran all night , and a chocolate wheel which was a great success.
Prizes were awarded through out the evening and these were kindly donated by local businesses including Heaven on a Hanger, Mystique, La De Dah, and Avon.
Supper lived up to the expectations we have of a country supper and is still being talked about today.
The event provided a platform to increase awareness about Breast Cancer and raise valuable funds.
