What a turn out, 44 men braved the cold weather occasionally brightened by a welcome sun. Played on the Hahn Green and the Somerset Green some of the games were very close affairs. There was a terrific atmosphere with the sounds of voices giving enthusiastic instructions punctuated by occasional laughter.

The sponsor of the week was The Scott’s group of Companies, and we remember the late Allan Scot O.A.M. was a great supporter of all bowling clubs in the South East.
