Zena Lea from Tantanoola scooped the prize pool at this year’s AH & S Millicent Show with 18 firsts and 11 seconds, including the Champion Sash in the category of Best Jam for her marmalade, and a first in the CWA Scone Competition.

Ms Lea  entered a over 100 exhibits covering categories in cut flowers, fruit cakes, jams, jellies, produce, eggs, mint, crochet work and craft work. A self- confessed exhibitor – Zena said she just loves the Show and the preparation and anticipation that goes into it in the lead up. Her favourite fare at the show this year was the pancakes and strawberries. Her biggest thrill was driving one of the new vehicles in the Grand Parade.

Zena presents Classical Interludes on 5 THE FM 107.7  on Friday evenings from 6-00 pm to 8-00 pm and is seen here with the stations new bumper stickers which were available at the show this year for the first time. 5 THE FM will run a competition in December especially for those people showing this limited edition of the bumper sticker on their car, so,  do as Zena did and make sure your sticker is clearly visible on your vehicle before December 1st.

Congratulations Zena on such a fantastic number of wins at the Show.
