The usually quiet little village of Rendelsham came alive for the  Christmas Street Party,  complete with roast dinner and Christmas pudding, on  Sunday 15th December with the community area setting the scene for an evening of Christmas Cheer.  Locals congregated to meet with old friends and new. The Rendlesham Sports and Progress Association provided the roast and locals brought their favorite vegetable dish, salad and sweet to share.

Approximately 46 adults and 12 children attended according to official head counter, local identity, Loraine Boyle.

Adults mingled and children played throughout the evening,  enjoying  magnificent country fare typical of  the local cooks,  to a background of modern and seasonal music.  The teenies and tweenies provided  entertainment to Katy Perry’s ‘Hear Me Roar’ and other current songs. The children received gift bags with Christmas story books and lolly bags.

Rendelsham Sport and Progress Association Treasurer Dawn Williams congratulated everyone on it’s  success and said she hoped  it would be held again next year.
