Victorian bushfire smoke drifts into SA

A message from the Country Fire Service – the bushfires currently burning in Victoria are causing smoke to drift over the border into South Australia.

A smoke haze is affecting the lower south-east of the state, with reports of smoke being visible in the towns of Mount Gambier and Naracoorte.

The public is advised to report any sightings of unattended active flame immediately to triple zero.

Residents and travellers in these areas are advised to remain vigilant at all times during the Fire Danger Season, and to exercise caution if travelling through any smoke affected areas.
