CLASS (Community Living and Support Services) is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation that supports people with disabilities to become more involved in their community. Providing services to people living throughout the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, Southern Metro, Kangaroo Island, Renmark and South East regions, CLASS is a well-known and respected organisation with the head office based in Strathalbyn.

On Wednesday 19th February the Millicent Bowling Club opened the Scott’s Green for a group from the CLASS Day Options Program to turn their hands to the wonderful sport of Lawn Bowls. It is intended that this will be a monthly outing for the group & the Millicent Bowling Club welcomes the opportunity to assist CLASS in this endeavour.

Support Workers Michelle Perry & Donna Harris had a great morning (until rain interrupted play) with 8 very enthusiastic competitors. Our Club President, Derk Pietersma, assisted them with all the equipment they required & some helpful tips on the fine art of bowling.
