Man reported for illegal motorbike video
Police have reported a man for driving offences after video footage of him doing burnouts in a national park was posted on the internet.
Police will allege that a 22-year-old man from Carpenter Rocks rode a motorbike through the Canunda National Park on 17 and 19 May 2013, breaching the National Parks and Wildlife Act.
The man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle, driving unlicenced and various offences against the National Parks and Wildlife Act, namely ride a vehicle in an unauthorised area, exceed speed in a reserve, drive an unregistered motor vehicle in a reserve and commercial filming in a reserve.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
