Two drivers charged by Penola police
Two drivers will face court in the south-east tomorrow after being stopped and charged with drink driving by Penola police.
One man, a 45-year-old of no fixed abode, will appear in the Mt Gambier Magistrates Court after being stopped about 10am on Friday on the Riddoch Highway at Nangwarry.
Police will allege the man was driving despite being disqualified in Victoria.
In addition to being charged with drink driving (0.208) and driving while disqualified, his vehicle was impounded for 28 days and his licence disqualified for 12 months.
In the second case a Penola man, 41, was charged with drink driving after police allegedly noticed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Clarke St about 10am on Saturday.
In addition to being charged with drink driving (0.170) the accused was issued with an immediate 12 month disqualification from driving and had his vehicle impounded for 28 days.
He is expected to appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Millicent man charged with property offences
A Millicent man has been charged with a number of property offences after police were called to a disturbance on Williams Rd about 7am yesterday.
The 27-year-old was arrested and charged with unlawfully being on premises, property damage and illegally interfering with a motor vehicle.
After being charged the accused was released on bail and will appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court on 25 June.

Police investigate shed break-in at Furner
Police investigating a break-in at a rural shed believe the incident may be linked to a number of others in the Millicent area.
Officers were yesterday advised of the break-in at a rural property on Gilchrist Lane in Furner.
Taken from the shed were an angel grinder, some 4WD rims and tyres and a quantity of diesel.
Police are following several lines of inquiry with regard to the matter, including whether the matter is related to an ongoing series of break-ins across the district.
A man was arrested last week in connection with a number of thefts and other offences in the Millicent area.

Naracoorte drug arrest
A man has been arrested after drugs were found at a house in Naracoorte yesterday.
At about 1pm, police searched the premises and found an amount of methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
A 37-year-old Naracoorte man was charged with possess controlled drug for sale, possess drug equipment, possess dangerous article, and unlawful possession.
He has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
