A 20-year-old Beachport man was detected drug driving yesterday at Beachport.
Police stopped the man on Williams Road, Beachport at about 1.15pm on Monday 16 June for a mobile driver test. He allegedly returned a positive result for methylamphetamine and was issued with a direction not to drive for 24 hours.
The sample will undergo forensic testing.
Two driver reported for drink and drug driving
Police have reported two people on Saturday 14 June for drink and drug driving.
Just after midday, police stopped a 46-year-old Millicent man on Holzgrefe Street Millicent for a driver screening test. The man recorded a positive result to methamphetamine.
He was issued with a driver direction notice preventing him from driving for 24 hours and will be reported once his sample has been forensically tested.
Police have reported a 36-year-old Penola man for drink driving after police stopped the man driving on Millicent Road Penola.
He was stopped just before 9.30pm, and recorded an alleged reading of 0.109.
The man was issued with an immediate loss of licence for six months and had his car impounded for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
