In Adelaide it may be all blue skies now, but the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds across much of the state today.
The warning is for people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of the West Coast and Flinders districts.
A strong front near Ceduna is expected to be near Minnipa to central Kangaroo Island around midday, the Adelaide area and South East coast mid afternoon and the eastern border this evening.
Locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to accompany the front with further showers to follow.
Ahead of the rough weather the State Emergency Service recommends that you should move vehicles under cover and secure loose items.
