Police have reported a Millicent man and impounded his car following reports he was doing burnouts yesterday.
Just before midday Millicent police stopped a Ford sedan in Short Street as its registration had expired. The 18-year-old driver was issued with a fine for driving unregistered as well as for failing to carry his provisional licence and his car was defected.
About an hour later, police came across the same car and driver in Cassells Street after it was reported doing burnouts.
The Millicent man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle, driving unregistered and driving contrary to defect. His car was impounded for 28 days and he will appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court at a later date.
