The Millicent Library will celebrate the installation of the Community Arts Project Wattle Range in Flight at the Millicent Gallery on Friday 19th September at 6-00 pm – All welcome.

The Beachport Bowling Club will hold their Open Day to celebrate the new artificial green on Sunday 21st September beginning at 11-00 am. Speeches and lunch begin at 12 noon and play starts at 1-00 pm. For further information please call 0432 480 259

Millicent Ladies Probus meeting will be held on Tuesday 23rd September at 10-00 am at the Millicent Bowling Club. Guest Speaker is Brian Foster speaking on Diving and Shipwrecks along the SE Coast including the Geltwood.

The Millicent Mental Health Support Group meets every Tuesday at the Lutheran Church Hall from 1-00 pm to 3-00 pm. Any one experiencing mental health issues is welcome to join or can be referred by organisations and GP’s. Please call 8739 7254 for further information.

The Millicent Orchid Society Show will be held from Saturday 4th to Monday 6th October at St Alphonsis Hall from 10-00 am to 4-00 pm daily. Potting demonstrations and sales available.

The Millicent High School will hold an Amnesty Week for the return of all musical instruments hired before 2014. Please leave at front desk and no fees charged and no questions will be asked.

The Millicent Menswatch Program will host a series of 3 nights over 3 weeks on Tuesday 30th September, and October 7th and 14th at the Millicent Community Club. The program is delivered by skilled male facilitators from the Australian Institute of Male Health and Studies and aims to equip men with knowledge, skill and confidence to support other men experiencing challenges with personal relationship or mental health issues.
