Suspected arson attack

by S Lowe 5THE FM newsonline wattlerangenow

About 12 noon on Monday this week, the toilets at Boozy Gully Southend Camp Ground were burnt down and signs were damaged.

A member of the community expressed their concern; that had it been a windy day, the damage could have been much more wide spread.

The public is urged to contact police with any information regarding this matter.

Police have issued this advice to the public, “When you’re out and about; if something or someone makes you stop and wonder what’s going on, let police know.”

Police recently made a timely warning to the public to watch for arsonists this summer in particular as the conditions are very dry. The warning was posted on this site just days ago, and for further information, can be accessed on this link ;-https://wattlerangenow.com.au/2014/12/03/keep-an-eye-ou…-danger-season/
