Driver pleads guilty over Hatherleigh crash

The driver of a vehicle involved in the fatal accident at Hatherleigh in December last year has pleaded guilty to  four counts of causing death by dangerous driving and one count of causing serious harm by dangerous driving.

Alexander Wooldridge, of Mt Shank, appeared in the Mt Gambier Magistrates Court today(Tuesday) and pleaded guilty to the charges.

Four members of the same family died in the accident. Joshua Doyle 22, his sister Jessica Doyle, 16, their mother Michell Doyle 45 and her mother Bev Khan 68. A passenger in the car survived the accident.

The accident involved three vehicles;  the four wheel drive they were in was hit, after a utility and a truck was involved in a collision at the Hatherleigh intersection.
