The children of Gladys Smith Early Learning Centre are grateful for the generosity of local toy maker Rod Harkness for his donation of handmade blocks, wagons, vehicles and games.
Rod has also fixed and refurbished some of the centres old wooden toys so the children can use them again in their play.
The Centre maintains a focus on natural environments and resources for children to use in their imaginative and creative play. The toys made and refurbished by Rod are a great resource and wonderful compliment to this focus.
Pictured are the children playing with the wooden toys donated by Rod Harkness.
