The industrious members of the Rendelsham Sports and Progress Committee are gearing up for another successful annual village fair with the ‘this little piggy went to market’ signs already out on the greens at Rendelsham, stall sites filling fast and auctions items being dug out from the darkest corners of local sheds.
This is the fourth year Rendelsham has come alive with what appears to be a scenario of ‘all roads leading’ to the usually quiet little hamlet on the Southern Ports Highway.
Secretary Dawn Williams said today that there are stall sites available but the numbers about the same as last year already. A big attraction this year will be the Ulyses Motor Cycle Club and the usual stalls of goodies, the BBQ and the finest of country cooking being whipped up in the kitchen for morning and afternoon tea.
President Randall Stiles will once again be at the helm of the BBQ with his band of willing workers, bales of hay for seating and a local band of musos to complete a great event.
