SAPOL Property stolen from cars

Police are investigating the theft of property from a car in Millicent over the weekend.

Sometime between Friday and yesterday, thieves entered an unlocked carport on Hakea Drive and stole cash and a credit card from insecure cars parked inside.

This serves as a timely reminder for residents to not only ensure their properties are secure but also, that their cars are always locked and to never leave valuables inside.

Man arrested for property damage

Police arrested a man yesterday after he allegedly damaged a window to a private property in Millicent in the early hours of Friday morning.

The 18-year-old from Millicent was arrested just after 8.30pm yesterday and has been charged with property damage and has been bailed to appear in court on 25 March.

Thieves target furniture at break-in

Police are investigating a break-in which occurred in Millicent sometime between December and February.

Thieves broke into the property on Giddings Street and stole a large quantity of furniture.
