The annual Millicent Rotary Photographic Art show official opening on Friday 27th March attracted a crowd of an estimated 150 people from all over the Limestone Coast. Over 200 entries in seven categories were on display Friday night and the exhibition will remain open to the public until Easter Monday. (closed Good Friday)

Linda Heins photographic art entry won the overall Open Category with a streetscape of a favourite Melbourne city lane. Linda has won other awards in her photographic career but this one is particularly memorable as it is of a street she visits each time she is in Melbourne.

Linda refers to herself as a photographic artist and describes her image as  ‘ a light shower in the street and a shower of light.’

Guest speaker Steve Chapple, said it is not the camera that makes the picture, but what you see. Mr Chapple opened the exhibition.
