Police stopped the man on Short Street for a random driver test. Police will allege the man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.223. Checks on both his licence and the cars registration revealed they had both expired.
The 29-year-old man from Millicent was reported for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, driving unlicensed and driving unregistered. He was issued with an instant loss of licence for 12 months and his car was clamped for 28 days.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court at a later date.
