The body of work presented in this exhibition has taken twelve months to complete. Drawing inspiration from the Wattle Range area where I live. It offers an insight into an artists ‘style’ of work. Over the last two years I have developed a familiarity with the walking trails and surrounding landscapes. No matter what the season there is always an abundance of imagery, I am always ‘walking with colour’.
In some instances I have accompanied the works with text. I have layered the image with a personal slant which may enhance the viewing experience: gently coaxing the viewer and the artwork itself. Each work is about being there, that time spent teasing the colour from every rock and tree distilling it into a frozen moment to gaze upon.
