Robe man arrested


Police from Robe and Kingston have arrested a Robe man after suspected stolen property was found in his car. Just after 8.30pm on Wednesday 13 May,  Police attended a roadside parking bay near Kingston SE and spoke to a man whose car had broken down.  

Police then searched the man’s car and found items which had been reported stolen from a private residence and a local business.  They also found other items which they suspect to also have been stolen.

The 38-year-old Robe man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession and being in possession of breaking implements at night.  He was bailed to appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court on Wednesday 19 August.

Theft from Millicent house & man reported in Kingston


Police are investigating the theft of a generator and high-pressure cleaner from a Millicent house on Friday night.

The items were stolen from the rear yard of the Williams Road property. The generator is a Honda brand.

Anyone with information that can assist police is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In a separate incident, a 20-year-old Kingston man has been reported yesterday for serious criminal trespass and theft after a break-in at a Kingston property in December last year.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Woman reported for dishonestly dealing with documents

Robe and Kingston police reported a 38-year-old woman from Mount Benson overnight in relation to dishonesty offences.
Police will allege the woman dishonestly dealt with documents relating to the passing of a cheque at Kingston during June.
She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
