The Millicent Respiratory Support Group firewood raffle was drawn on Saturday 26th July by Foster’s employee Carly. We raised in excess of $750:00 from this raffle.
The winning ticket was held by Trevor Brooks of Southend whose wife, Heather, purchased the ticket outside Foster’s Foodland.
Trevor was extremely happy with the win as he had no idea that Heather had purchased raffle tickets and thought the quality of the firewood extraordinary.
The proceeds of the two raffles held this year will be put to the purchase of a spare battery for the portable oxygen concentrator we donated to the Millicent Medical Centre last year and a new treadmill that we will loan to the physiotherapy department of the Millicent Hospital for their Respiratory Rehabilitation courses.
The attached photos are of Carly and Max Blacketer drawing the lucky ticket and Heather Brooks with the unloaded red gum firewood.
The MRSG would like to thank all who have purchased raffle tickets and assisted us in realising this year’s goal.
